A former NASA Chief Historian has come up with a reasonable explanation for what type of life we might find in our universe.
”There are three possibilities of the kind of universe we live in, Steven Dick, former NASA Chief Historian and the author of “Astrobiology, Discovery and Societal Impact,” told me recently in Copenhagen.” says Forbes.
Life, in distant regions of the universe could have been around much longer than on our small planet. If, for example, a civilisation had even a 1 million year head start on us, which is possible considering the universe is 13.8 billion years old, could they have evolved into an AI driven civilisation. Where even our consciousness has been uploaded into sentient machines enabling us to live forever?
