Well, it was only a matter of time before AI could surpass human Doctors. A recent ground breaking study by Harvard and Stanford has revealed that OpenAI’s 01-Preview system acheived an impressive 78.3% accuracy overall and 88.6% on the toughest cases which has demonstrated the systems advanced medical reasoning capabilities.
Despite being a revolutionary advancement, the AI has drawbacks, including trouble with probability calculations and excessively detailed responses. Before widespread adoption, experts advise exercising caution and requesting additional clinical trials and better evaluation techniques.
Although its not going to replace Dr’s just yet…give it a couple of years…it has the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. Gives new meaning to the term ‘Dr Google’.
